Jennifer is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Alabama and Mississippi, bringing over 18 years of diverse experience in the field. Her expertise spans medical social work in hospital and community health settings, child and family services, behavioral and mental health, and her current role with the Veterans Health Administration, where she supports individuals and families from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Driven by a passion for helping others lead fulfilling lives despite challenging circumstances, Jennifer firmly believes that your past does not dictate your future. She employs a client-centered, collaborative approach to wellness, recognizing that optimal health encompasses eight key pillars: physical, spiritual, financial, psychological, social, intellectual, vocational, and environmental.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Mobile, with a minor in Psychology, and holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama, focusing on Children, Youth, and Family. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work at Sacred Heart University.
Her specialized training includes trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), tele-mental health, motivational interviewing, and health coaching.
